Research Interest:
My research interests include:

(1) Invertebrate molecular immunology: Crustaceous and insects antimicrobial factors, separation and purification of pattern recognition receptor (PRR), gene cloning, regulation of gene expression, immunological recognition, and signal transduction during the immune response.

(2) Stress resistance in insects: Study on physiology and molecular mechanisms of insect resistance to dry and hot desert environments.

(3) Active components of insect defensive glands: Analysis of protein components in Tenebrionidae species’ defensive glands and the separation of anti-cancer and anti-microbial protein polypeptides.

(4) Cancer screening of tumor markers: Screening of lung cancer, stomach cancer, and esophagus cancer markers using the protein microarray technique.

Last update: 2007-07-09
