Research Interest:
My research topics are related to reproductive biology, seed production, and grow-out of aquatic animals, and biotechnology and its application in aquatic production.

The research projects in my lab include the breeding, and rearing, sex determination, germplasm resources, and active biological substances, juvenile culture, biochemistry characteristics of protein, cell genetic engineering, cytological study of fertilization, and reproductive biology of the crustaceans, such as Chinese shrimp (Penaeus chinensis) and Scylla serrata. All of my projects have beenare supported by either one of China’s national-level or provincial-level research funds. More From my projects, I have published more than 50 papers. have been published from those research projects.

I am the vice-dean of the College of Life Sciences, and a committee member of the Chinese Crustacean Society and the Hebei Province Zoological Society, and a member of the Chinese Zoological Society, the Chinese Physiological Society, the Chinese Society for Cell Biology, and the Chinese Society of Oceanology and Limnology. In addition, I was appointed as a member of the National Natural Science Foundation of China evaluation committee, a member of the editorial committee of the Journal of Hebei University, and a member of the advisory committee of Hebei Province City Construction and Environment Protection Bureau.
